tell me about your experiences of italy. i'm genuinely interested for once.
did you eat lampredotto>
it's not exactly michelin star material
Verona can fuck right off though.
i've heard it's lovely but full of committed fascists. i'm not sure if that's the general impression people get.
(the only hostel there). Other than that, I just found it a bit pokey and provincial, overpriced, devoid of much to see aside from the arena (which is hamstrung by the fact its still used as a venue), and "Juliet's house" which is an absolute pile of cack. It would be like coming to the UK and visiting Chelmsford or something, you just shouldn't bother.
keep it coming
Capri and Sorrento are beautiful on a sunny day too. Naples is a dump but still interesting and worth a visit for the proximity of Pompeii.
Should you be in that part of Italy it's worth going to the top.
i live in southern italy now (i'm not going to be specific)
i want to see a lot more of italy but it's apparent to me that what a lot of people consider to be a dump on holiday is a great place to live (i've not been stabbed in the bum yet but a guy did inadvertently slap me in the face whilst gesticulating recently which hurt at the time but in hindsight is hilarious)
Most of the best places of London are areas that tourists would consider to be dumps. And to be fair, I've not seen much more of Naples than the journey from the airport to the railway station and back, and the parts you can see from the Circumvesuviana (which goes through some pretty grim stretches).
you're a lot less likely to be mugged, but i guess it's more embarrassing to be mugged by greasy haired teens in skintight donald duck trackie-bottoms.
bet you went to milan or something
(660ml for €1.50 in a bar)
and very Italian. Lovely stuff.
