although to improve your hot chocolate drink no one seems to have mentioned an alcohol content.
I put some Scotch in my hot chocolate once and it wasn't very nice. Scotch, milk and honey on the other hand - now you're talking.

cos that is impossible and I had this discussion lately. Although in a pan and whisking kind of does it, but not quite completely.
Proper hot chocolate, even just the Cadbury's stuff, does not present this problem. Buy proper hot chocolate and realise how easy it can be.
I use a cast iron sauce pan thing. and I use mint essence and almond flakes and just normal bournville cocoa. gently heat it, give it a whisk. add honey to taste.
then stick it in the microwave for 90 seconds.
like one would whilst making a white sauce
