Did any of you lovely people read Flat Stanley at school?

Do you remember the Stanley Bagshaw books? 'Up north where it's boring and slow, Stanley Bagshaw lives with his gran at 4 Prince Albert Row'.
I wondered whether it was a Burnley-only book.
I like that his parents folded him up and posted him in an envelope when they went on holiday to avoid paying for his flight

Great stuff. I always assume it was written by Dick King Smith, I think because I get it confused with the equally great George Speaks.
