What do you think about it? Do you think it exists? There's an article here.
When I was a bit younger I used to think I was maybe asexual as my friends were far more interested in sex and relationships than I was but nowadays I think it's a bit of an unnecessary label for someone who doesn't have that much interest in sex.
I'm not saying it doesn't exist per se, just that you get some people who are massively interested in sex and some people who aren't especially interested in sex and there's a broad spectrum and that people labelling themselves asexual is a bit unnecessary and sets them apart as something quite different to everyone else when really they're just a bit less interested in sex.
I particularly wonder about 18 or 19 year olds pigeonholing their sexuality at such a young age and whether they're creating a self-image that might find hard to break later on, even if they want to.
Anyway, what do you think?
