Looking for something nice for tea tonight - what are you having?
Ideas without meat in would be appreciated.
Dunno, probably take away
think I might pick up that book this weekend
worth it for a tenner but it's not great. Actually, it's worth it for the flatbreads.
my sister got me a packet of seitan from Nam. Anyone cooked with it... or eaten it?
a crunchy surprise awaits!
If I had to choose, it'd be the white, every time
Going to cook some nice ravioli tomorrow though I reckon.
With a nice bit of crusty bread.
before I realised she had meat in her.
You probably should too.
had roasted onion and courgettes in it and a plum tomato and red wine vinegar sauce. YUM.
OR home made quesedillas.
but sweet potato is the best CANT WAIT
tempura plantains are good too
Gonna put bacon in mine but you don't have to.
Pancetta pasta. Fry diced pancetta til it's nice and crispy, then bosh in a tin of chopped tomatoes and some chilli flakes and simmer on a low heat for twenty minutes or so, put the pasta on, then a few minutes before the pasta's done pour some cream into the pancetta and tomato sauce and let that thicken up, drain the pasta, whack it in the same saucepan as the sauce and cook together for half a minute or so. Bit of pepper, bit of parmesan cheese, bish bash bosh.
Sorry if that sounds a bit Jamie Oliver, it isn't and it's nice.
might have pasta bake for tea
Never been before but I love sushi, it is healthy and I have a voucher for 40% off so worth a try.
Anyone been? Worth it with a discount or not?
But works out good value with a voucher
I wasn't expecting anything ground breaking and I cant seem to find many decent Sushi places in North London so thought I may as well go and have a look.
Spent a fortune and was still hungry when I left.
Not for me.
and was mega expensive. never going again. interestingly, the one in aberdeen is always super busy, but i reckon it's because they have the stupid conveyor belt design and there's about 40% of the seats in there that there should be.
i said "interestingly" which it isn't
I fancy prawns with tomato and chilli sauce and spaghetti and garlic bread, loads of it....maybe home made if I can be bothered to make dough when I get in.
