is on iplayer. If you like Spiral/The Killing/Government etc....then watch it.
though it was a bit weird when she spoke english in a really plummy accent though.
actors when so many from The Killing turned up in Borgen. That's not a criticism though. If you haven't seen it do check it out; not as gripping as The Killing but a very good political drama and well acted too.
Quite a few of the same actors who were in The Killing also appear in Borgen. Is this just coincidence?
Well, it's not as if Denmark is desperately short of actors and the same faces appear in every show, if that's what you were thinking. Rather it's just that the best actors tend to get the best jobs.
If you were ever going to bet on a TV show's success, this is the one: the world of Wallander meets that of Lund. This new show, soon to appear on BBC4, is a Danish-Swedish co-production. A woman's body is found near the border between Denmark and Sweden and police join forces to hunt the killer. The series has been praised for its cinematic atmosphere
It started off not that gripping but still interesting cos the characters were good, but yeah the last few episodes have been great and sad and stuff. I HOPE IT HAS A HAPPY ENDING
still haven't got round to watching the Killing yet
Kasper looking really odd, can't trust himself with even a v small glass of wine and the lovely Katrine
Torben, poor poor Torben...totally distraught at the thought of Kattrine and the sleazy scarf and stubbled boss
Katrine - why can't you afford a bigger flat? are newsreaders not paid well in Denmark?
Birgitte totally ace as usuals
Bent still in the same glasses
presume there has been no thread on this so far, couldn't find one.
Let the BORGEN love commence
I think I'm in (more) love with Birgette.
I read somewhere that Kasper had a Leonardo DiCaprio makeover and I thought that was pretty spot on.
This really is the best show.
over again. The personal problems that Kasper had as well as Birgette's daughter made for an excellent series two. There's 4 x double episodes left and so a nice lead up to Christmas. I've always enjoyed catching up on the various Danish series' on Sunday mornings after a late Saturday night out.
