CharlieMortdecai [Edit] [Delete] 10 replies 05:43, 5 January '12

Or rather a ceiling fan hit me in the head. Hard, it was up full.

9 hours later the fucker's still bleeding.

  • If only Christmas were a winter festival for you

this probably wouldn't have happened, huh.

    • The thought actually went through my head.

But it was an a head addled by concussion, because I could no doubt have done the same in a half-asleep state in July.

  • get to the hospital

sounds like it was a really big knock

    • You sound like my wife

I can think of no greater waste of a sickie then to spend a frustrating day waiting in casualty with a bunch of drunks/junkies/sick people.

Thanks for the concern, of course. But not nauseous, sleepy, or any more dazed and confused than usual. Just a wound that won't stop bleeding (only a trickle though) and a bit of a headache.

      • hmm

Id still go if i were you. esp after a big knock to the head.

In saying this, i avoid the hospital like the plague, ive had a stone in my ear for two weeks. Plus various other things i should be going about. So, i can see why you wont.

  • Don't blame the fan

the fan is always there, you hit your head on it because you're a bit simple... swallow your pride and get it checked before the rest of your brain leaks out or something.

    • I blame the fucking cat

Who annoyed Mrs M because he's a fat greedy bastard and he knows if he scratches fuck out of her she'll make me feed him, who then woke me up (sleeping with a child in a bunk bed), and in my half asleep state I completely forgot about the fan (which is unfortunately right near the ladder).

The worst of it all is now I'm going to have to move a fucking bunk bed, because Mrs M will fear it happening to the child now (even though he's four feet shorter than me), and that is going to involve moving a big arse wall unit, that's screwed to the wall. God, just the thought of all the spack filling, and redrilling holes and shit is making me tired.

Maybe I do need to see a doctor.
