citizens of the north, we all enjoying this wind then? Everything has closed here, people be buggin'
which means i am very important, or completely dispensable
to the god of moving air
Need to be in Gourock tonight/ early morn at latest for a wedding. eeep.
get a kite - really quick transport.
by accident. My bastard sat nav took me to loch fyne via the dunoon ferry without my permission, and as i was half asleep, i didn't realise until i was pretty much on the boat.
Did you get the car ferry or the wee passenger ferry? I took xylopwn to dunoon last year because it was a nice day to go doon the watter, but we didn't have enough time to go to Bute. We spent 2 hours looking for a fish and chip shop that was open on a monday afternoon (Public service anouncement- there are none) before having to walk back to the ferry through the village of the damned.
i was doing some work near otter ferry (great name); there's a fish farm there who do smoked farmed halibut. I was doing a survey for them and he gave me a pack (RRP £15). bribenomnom.
I drove back round via Loch Lomond and saw a dead horse. Great days.
but :))) smoked halibut. I can't wait to get home tonight (if i make it) and eat lots of fish. (If i don't make it, then bye).
Fuck you, hurricane bawbag
Doesn't seem to be much happening in Edinburgh as of yet, though my works been cancelled and the uni's been closed.
guttering and roof tiles going down EVERYWHERE
I'm not holding out much hope for my beautiful riverside wedding tomorrow :'(
outside sainsburys. The amount of fuckers that just walked passed her though, makes my blood boil. It is really gusty to be fair, not sure where you guys are but princes street is fucked.
and it seems windy but not crazy, havn't seen a bin get blown over yet, for example
i'm surprised you're showing your face here tbh.
just not full buildings
last fucking straw, sick of this fucking hurricane
More than happy to get trapped in here. Keep safe everyone x
Might be able to dig out some pink tights and a tutu too if you are lucky.
Bring. It. On.
(actually don't bring it on too much, i'd quite like the structural integrity of my flat to not be comprimised, especially as we're trying to sell it just now. Cheers).
Anyway, it's well fucking windy here - all the schools are now shut and there are signs above the M8 telling people to avoid driving, which made me laugh a little.
Home safe(?) and sound now though, so you can all relax a little.
Windy where you are?
you are definitely asking for it.
good, as i was going to probably fail
instead i'm drinking vodka and watching 2012 and listening to the insane winds outside my window
because the student bar is open till midnight and i live in the building nex to it
however this afternoon's matinee performance of Take Shelter is going ahead http://www.glasgowfilm.org/theatre/
Cheers for the heads up Severed.
Watching Countdown. This current champion guy is mauling his opponent.

the Airdrie Christmas tree link
I'm blown away
Glad I'm not working tonight
Also, check out the turbine in the last of the pics here; it's like something from war of the worlds, awesome pic:
He should be inside, don't want him catching a cold so he's unavailable for Saturday's game.
something hit my window about ten minutes ago :|
This pub is gonna make a lot of cash out of me tonight, I don't intend to move for some time!
keep thinking about seeing if people want to go to the bar, but outside = :(
I've already taken in three stranded waif and strays. More the merrier.
It's not like they will be staying in her room anyhow...
Not sure where you stay about but wind in city has died down a fair bit now
It's still early...
but then the world ends and it stops being impressive and just becomes the bloke from High Fidelity swimming around in badly-lit underwater rooms.
