Why don't we have potty parity (ladies and gentlemen having equal loo queue times) in this country?
Seriously, what the bleeding fuck? Lip service has at least been paid to most other acts of gender discrimination that exist in this country, yet barely a whisper is ever heard on this issue despite it probably being the most common and visible example. New York City has done much to resolve this, with loo facilities being much more fairly allocated (generally on a 3:1 female: male ratio to allow for women's more complex needs and the fact that there are simply more knocking around), so why not no-less-liberal Britain? Is it merely something to do with folk this side of the pond being too embarrassed to talk about things like toilets?
Yeah. Sort it out, architects. Sort it out, owners of existing public buildings. After all, modification to incorporate disabled loos wasn't too much of a tall order*.
