I'm feeling fruity so I'll allow carols

McCartny (not we all stand together)
I can't remember how it goes, I just love the bit where you absolutely bellow HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRKKKKKKKK
I presume that's what it's called.
the 'released just a couple of days before Christmas last year so it didn't really have time to go anywhere, recorded by various half-decent bands from in/around south-west London and available on itunes for only 79p with all proceeds to Shelter' version, watchable at http://youtu.be/lbcuIC7KNzA
The Bobby McGee's - Danny Baker / Bob Marley
I'm putting both in one post because I can.
You bunch of cretins.
I really wish it was played more often. Understated brilliance.
Partridge in a Pear Tree (or is it the First Day of Christmas?) still tops it, however. The bit where everyone eventually gets to the full twelve days and it goes down to "five go-ooold rings!" for the last time is pure euphoria. Getting quite worried that I still haven't had the chance to do that yet.
So many good Christmas songs, so many of them overlooked in favour of shite.
Come on people, what's wrong with you?
1. Stop The Cavalry
2. Wonderful Xmas Time (Paul)
3. Sleigh Ride (Ronettes)
