I mean, a print out of what you have on your phone for free. So it's really only going to appeal to the twee-er corner of the market.
Also it's going to have a bigger market with the self-employed graphic designers and the like but it's still going to be a novelty so if it's £50ish then it's probably got a market. Much more than that and I'm not so sure.
So you can't really 'keep' anything you print with it.
Not sure quite how much use it would be but i find any PHONE REMINDERS massively easy to ignore and forget about
i like the idea of something printing out a list of things to do, peoples birthdays, etc etc each day to help me out
price will be, as you say, the decider
Kinda reminds me of Nabaztag.
Ahead of it's time in some ways (the 'internet of things' and all that jazz), and obviously outmoded in others (trying to replace digital thing with a somewhat superseded physical thing).
i quite like the physicality of paper tho - like i say, i find it easier to actually action paper lists or reminders
digital things like that i find very easy to forget about / ignore
The only people I can think of who'd want this are all freelance graphic designers or employed as that.
I do some freelance shit yeah
I agree that it's a pretty small market they are aiming for
Okay, it clearly will be popular with some programmers too but I wasn't meaning that it only has applications to graphic designers, rather I literally meant that of my friends the only ones I could think of who'd like it were the graphic designers.
I think it goes for that Apple appeal area, you see: namely artistic design and technology combined.
Either way, I've just done it, too.
There's definitely times where a note replaces a screen image.
A retro-tech mistress called... Dot Matrix.
1. Become a tranny
2. Make a show based on the character of Dot Matrix
3. Take it to the Ed Fringe
5. Present/appear on Have I got News For You.
6. Die happy.

A bog roll holder/printer combo. Something to read while you do your jobbie. Then just wipe and discard.
