i was about 14 i think (5'7)
If not: the day I became an adult (ask your mum)
Bit of a 'late bloomer' myself, so probably not until about 19.
But then a very slight levelling off before reaching the 6' 5" plateau when I was 16.
not sure though, does anyone really notice exactly when they've stopped growing
was self conscious about it since i was way taller than most of the other girls at school
I was one of the shortest in my class at school but became one of the taller ones in the space of 18 months.
It was fucking ages ago.
My older brother is 6'4''. I'm 5'9''. I'm beginning to think it won't happen.
Maybe about 16? I don't know. Once I was taller than my dad it was all academical.
I don't really know. Or care.
If I cared.
I'm a good foot taller than both of mine, i was probably adopted
I'm much taller than both my parents.
and is therefore less evolved than the rest of us
i'll go sit with the human remains they've found in africa from a million billion years ago then SHALL I?
My dad is about 6'2/3?
...it was gash - I was the second shortest in my school year all thru secondary school before becoming tall at university. None of my friends from the age of 19 onwards believe that I used to be a shortarse.
I used to be really short until I started growing at the age of 12, becoming one of the taller people in the year, then I just stopped at 14 and everyone else caught me up and overtook me.
By the time I left school at the age of 17/18, I was the shortest boy in the year.
was a bit taller than others until about 16, then everyone squirted up to man height (5ft10 and over) and i stayed at 5ft8
I imagine i'll peak at 5'3" in a decade or so and then start shrinking.
(in all honesty I had a mini growth spurt at 11 and then it petered out by the time I was 13)
I remember getting pains in my knees at this age
*Backs out of thread*
standards are slipping, DiS, standards are slipping
Enjoyed being taller than my mates. Now I'm just Mr. Average.
Was one of the shortest kids in school, quite surprised to find myself taller than a lot of people at 6th form.
I remember getting a relatively early spurt (heh, spurt) on and managed to graduate to the middle row of the class photo, instead of the front row) FOR ONE YEAR ONLY. Heady days.
