I have a genuine problem (shaking hand - centric)
My upper back has been hurting a bit today after a pretty strenuous session yesterday in the gym.
Today I did some boxing and rowing and skipping and now my left hand is shaking so much. I've had to correct several spelling errors due to the shake whilst typing this.
My whole arm feels weak. I'v searched online and it's a fairly common problem, but they say have some sugar and carbs and it usually sorts it out. Since my workout (finished around 1630) i've had a bottle of coke and a sandwich in order to try and get it to stop and it's just not stopping or easing off.
Has this happened to anyone before? Did you just sleep it off?
sounds like you'll have to cut off your arm
right?
i meant right hand
god i'm all over the place
...
Sounds like a strained tendon to me. It happened after boxing/ weights to me after I didnt warm up properly and used the heavy bag and sparred.
Ibuprofen gel or deep heat spray, rest, ice, compression. The pain will go in a day or two, but dont put weight on it for the up to two weeks else you might screw it up proper (I fought a week later and snapped the tendon = a month out)
This makes sense
we were late into the gym and got sparring quite quickly. I'm going away for 5 days as of tomorrow so wont be doing any heavy gym work for that time. I'll give it a bit of rice in a mo, but not sure where to target the ice. Is it my hand or my arm?
Aye a bit of basmati will do the trick.
:D
only read the title
firm grip, 3 seconds tops else he think you'll up to something
*you're
sounds like you wank too much to me.
I just Googled your predicament
and it apparently it means you're a pussy.
Nah
it's involuntary, it's not painful it's just annoying
I just Googled it again
and I'm afraid I got the same result back.
Could be nerve damage
nothing to be concerned about
NHS online is telling me you
have a case of Super AIDS. I'm really sorry man...
today
So let me get this straight
you hurt your UPPER back and thought the best thing for it would be boxing?
well it was just a post work out ache
not damage
This didn't happen and your arms not shaking.
My mum and sister say that similar things happened to them.
But I don't think so.
Having a coke and a sandwich doesn't really count as taking on sugar and carbs...
yes, yes it does.
Not compared to a bowl of pasta,
which, considering you'd only eaten a sandwich in the three hours since you finished working out, is probably what you needed to have.
not compared to
so it is still a sufficient way. Also, you don't know how much I had either? I had it as soon as I got back in too - I had enough carbs.
was hoping
for a thread discussing the art of the perfect handshake
too much wiping?
