Liverpool inexplicably win a cracking game at Chelsea. They were well worth the lead at half time, but then seemed to completely abandon the pressing game that had served them so well, despite having an extra man in midfield. Chelsea really should have gone on and won it after they equalised, Malouda's chest and bicycle kick effort would have been incredible if it had gone in.
Some credit to Dalglish though, his subs did seem to make a difference (apart from Carrol obvs) and Johnson's winner was so good that everyone appeared to forget that he'd been appalling for the previous 88 minutes. Lolz at the commentators for thinking Drogba had scored that freekick.
Elsewhere City trundle on without really breaking sweat, Swansea play pretty well, but hand United the 3 points on a plate, Arsenal beat Norwich despite yet another ludicrous miss from Gervinho, Wigan and Blackburn are as shit as each other, ref merks Stoke by ignoring two pretty obvious pelanties as QPR win 3-2 and some other games happen.
Villa vs Spurs tonight, could be interesting, though expect Spurs to win fairly comfortably. Darren Bent usually tries way too hard against Spurs and ends up doing something daft. 'Arry returns to the bench after recovering from surgery/hearing he's not due in court for 2 months.
D-Beck wins the Soccer Bowl, well done him.
Man City to announce gigantic, FFP-busting, kit sponsorship with Umbro. Remember their short-lived deal with Ecko? Some lovely adverts with Elano trying to look a bit ghetto.
