what dishes would you do?
I picked up on quite a lot of nice recipes when I lived in Cyprus, and there are some yummy vegetarian dishes.
My friend who lives in Corby is going on there (in the new year) and he's asked me to play guitar and sing as part of the entertainment. Not sure TBH.
Hi Chris by the way. How goes it, fella? x
yeah it's not too bad thank you. Sorry to hear about your job, I'm sure you'll get something else soon if you haven't already done so. My life is average - split up with the gf and just playing it all by ear now!
Very unexpected to be honest, but then nothing is 100% in life.
Why did you split up?
or KFC, naturally
...not sure if i'm flattered or worried by this
starter - giant cous cous(cooked a special way with really nice olive oil) with cucumber chunks and feta.
nah actually forget that....
starter - home made onion barji's with tomato chilli/garlic/coriander sauce.
main course - a thali comprised of - my super fruitnveg curry, daal, my special superdry butterbean chat, and a superhot quorn massala. This would be with some quince pickle, hot onion and mustard salsa, cucumber and cumin and mint raita, and a chilli/ginger/garlic hot dippling sauce, pillau rice and chapatis (I'd let them help cook em for the theatre/entertainment....I was freaked out by dry frying on a chapati iron the first time.....and then to put them (and the puris) just neat onto the gas ring will be novel for them.
Pudding - Home made pistachio barfi with some cold cardamon rice pudding.
That sounds good.
Though he did spend most of the night talking about global finance so I'm dropping it to 9
not idea what barfi is though :p
to make up for an absolutely appalling showing by a vegan on the show, he was an awful advert for veganism.....mine is all vegan apart from the quorn and the pudding, which is just vegetarian.
Barfis are absolutely delicious you can get them from asian sweet centres (do they have them in london? they do in birmingham)
basically it is ground pistachios (or almonds) into condensed milk and reduced with something sweet, I might use some rose water.....sound simple but it takes a long time they end up being solids
I don't think any of them had tried any of this before hand one woman was seriously gagging on it.
His main was seriously 'bland'
tofu is not going to enhance or take on much of the avocado taste, this guy was a vegan, but no cook.
so every cunt that came... and they would be cunts because they always are on that show would be getting a starter of a couple of pints of lager, a main course and some more drinks for dessert.
As to the main course I have a few good recipes. I do a right good fish curry. I also have my improvised curry which usually turns out pretty good. Finally tonight I tried to make Jambalaya for the first time - it was fucking immense.
Poison was great, but twice in one meal? 7/10.
Or the oven-baked rigatoni with wild boar salami
Something Italian.....followed by a baked bannana for afters. Or a laminated print out of The Velvet Underground cover (served with hundreds and thousands)
But I'm sure the rigatoni is just a case of mixing everything up in a bowl.
P.s. Must remember to buy some boar.
Caribbean lady who thinks she can do rice and beans better than anyone in the world - how hard is it to make rice and beans, really
Asian lady who turns her nose up at everyone else's cooking before serving an underwhelming curry
Gay man with secret drag act life, revealed on final night
but then serves it at her dinner party
The contestant that uses the how to promote thier flagging music career.
The wine snob.
They always seem to enjoy having a strict Muslim contestant so there's drama about a no alcohol policy etc

The really middle-aged lady who flirts with the youngest of the lot
But is it food placed on a nekkid lady?
Pot Noodle on a plate
Powdered egg and the like. It was good enough for my old man.

Alan Sugar's coming
Twix & Vodka
Who doesn't eat fish. Won't even try it.
Who would only dare eat a rare steak, pretends they hate a perfectly fine medium steak, just to be a food snob.
I'd do a carribean theme, jerk chicken, curry goat (I bet some fussy cunt refuses to eat goat), rice and peas etc etc. All of that can be done in advance pretty much.
