but a halftime score of 6-2 was it? Blues much improved in the second half, probably an equal number of comedy goals conceded by both teams.
I thought the Reds rearguard in the last 20 minutes or so saved the game, and we always looked threatening going forward. Blues decision to put Lee in the back for with Louis just ahead of him worked well to stop Tunde and JohnM rampaging.
Always seem to say this, but I genuinely thought everyone had a very solid game. Reds: Joe great and calm at the back, James great and bringing the ball out of defence and getting it forward, Tunde and John both very imposing upfront. Blues: probably Lee or Louis MVP.
Scorers: Tunde x4, JohnM x2, Joe / Orsmby x2, Sam...Tristan x2?
Also: we scored from a PRE-PLANNED CORNER, so really this game was won on the training ground. Cheers.
