Wekeend break forthcoming in November. Does anyone have any recommendation please?
two people from milan here. i don't know anything about the city but do expect people to just bellow instead of talking in normal inside voices, i imagine milan to be full of people having perfectly normal conversations but shouting everything.
But I think it's home to Leonardo's Last Supper, so fill your boots with that.
Except when I went the Last Supper exhibitions was closed for renovations. Winner.
Much preferred taking the train to Venice and Turin.
had the best hot chocolate there (which seemed to be literally melted chocolate - something i've barely seen elsewhere). drink that.
some v posh shops. look at them.
beggar women with animals stacked on top of each other. feel for them.
that's all i remember. was only there for a works weekend do.
Bit obvious, but the cathedral is stunning.
San Siro tour is decent if you like football.
Look at attractive, well dressed people.
if you see someone up a ladder wearing a fleece say hi.
in the square when i was there for a weekend
rather enjoyed it
