Last night I made massive home made burgers which were filled with cream cheese and pickled green chillis, served with home made wedges and an avacado salad. Easy to make, pretty awesome to eat.
Make a typical burger recipe (mince, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, egg, dash of olive oil) with a pinch of cumin and some fresh basil and coriander thrown in, then half the mince mixture for each burger and form in to little hollow bowl shapes. Cut up chillis fairly small, mix them through a big helping of Philadelphia, spoon in to the meaty crescents and put the other half on top, forming them tight around it. Fry off to seal, then oven cook to preferred temperature (medium rare bordering on medium works best). Done.
Anyone have any similarly simple, slightly filthy after work food ideas? I'm getting bored of cooking pasta and stir frys.
