You should makes it with water, right? I've seen people make it with milk, this must be wrong.
It shoudln't need milk. The oats ooze a kind of milkiness and that's where the creaminess comes from. IT DOESN'T NEED MILK.
(i quite like it with a little milk sometimes though).

Seriously. Steel cut ones, health food stores usually do them if your supermarket doesn't. Do the overnight method:
just bring it to the boil and leave it to sit on the side. Reheat the next day, add raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg etc.

i have mine with milk and chop in some blueberries and bananas
it tastes pretty much the same just less....milky? and the milk will fill you up longer than water will.
It's great for the first few spoonfuls but it gets very sickly very quickly.
and warmed up.
(I don't really like porridge)
I jest, I hate porridge and Scottish people.
I usually cook it on a medium heat for around 5 to 6mins, with milk, a little sugar & some chopped bananas. Like it quite thick, consistency wise. Fills me up for the morning.

Those peanut butter options sound great. Must try this. Do you mix it all in or just dollop on top?
add half a mashed banana if 1 or a full one if 2
