Luke Skywalker unlikely to live there, NASA confirms.
"It may resemble the planet Tatooine from the film Star Wars, but scientists say Luke Skywalker, or anyone at all, is unlikely to be living there.
Named Kepler-16b, it is thought to be an uninhabitable cold gas giant, like Saturn."
So *not* like Tattooine then, DUH
It just trips of the tongue.
and that sun is then orbiting the larger sun

where one sun orbits another, are quite common.
the stars are ~0.2 AU apart
the planet orbits them at a distance of ~0.7AU

i'll let you know.
Is there anything that is beyond Sir Patrick Meths?
I love space
They use data from Kepler, and apparently humans are better at recognising many patterns than computers. If you're the first person to identify a planet you'll get your name published :) But you can't choose the name of your planet unfortunately :(
See the little animations on here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binary_star
unless you count your mum as a planet, and bacon sandwiches as planets.
