How old were you when you found your first grey hair?
does it bother you / do you dye it / pull them out?
I found my first one when I was 17. I've got a few now (maybe ten) but I just leave them. I'm kinda hoping I'll have a grey streak at the front, that would like kinda cool.
My Dad went completely grey in his twenties. I'm hoping this doesn't happen to me.
Also, slightly greying men = hott.
more than 10, but less than 700
is that a bearskin you're wearing?
but just a few here and there, you can't really tell, especially since my 90s revival where I decided to take some bleach to half my hair.
probably since i was about 20
i'm also receding though, which is worse
other than the rogue copper-brown hair i found in my eyebrow (see separate thread)
and 69 / yes / azerbaijan
but not many.
I'm 25 tomorrow.
I noticed my first grey hair when I was about 19 and it's gradually been getting greyer ever since. I wanted a streak too and even started plucking them in one area to cultivate this (pluck one, seven grow back etc). It didn't work but I've got a nice spread of grey throughout. I used to dye it but I haven't for the past couple of years because I really like it. I have long hair with a big fringe and it's an interesting mix of brown and grey which makes it a nice ash brown colour. The guy I'm seeing says it's incredibly sexy without any hint of trying to make me feel better so for now I'm happy with it and actually wouldn't mind a few more greys. (I'm 29 but despite the grey hair people assume I'm about 24). My mum was completely grey by 25.
Found my first one at 15. Now I've got quite the streak going on across my fringe. I'm hoping I end up looking like the guy from We Are Scientists, although I actually look more like the other guy from We Are Scientists, so I'm going to look like their offspring or something. Nice to know golden_blue thinks I'm hot though :)
and I'm 26, my mum and her mum were both went gray at the same rate as me. My mum's hair is silver now though, brilliant colour
grey or gray?
My mum didn't really get any grey uintil her 40s and my dad's in his 70s and only has the tiniest bit of silver starting to show, so I may have escaped it. Having said that I'd like to go grey as I think it looks lovely (and it will also mean I can quit highlighting my hair).
Had grey hair since I was 14. Should count my blessings - my great uncle on my mum's side was completely grey by 17.
I carry it off though
I know people with my hair colour who've had some greys since they were about 15 but none for me. I don't think my had has a single grey hair yet either.
I'd be happy enough to go grey, it looks pretty cool on dark haired folk. And I'd take it as false reassurance that I'm not going to go bald.
but none ney were else.
Hadn't had a haircut from end of May until Sunday just passed. In that time, the grey in either temple has spread just a little too enthusiastically. Not particularly worried though, look what it did for The Clooney's career.
Have developed two annoying patches of whiteness in my stubble. It's kind of like alopecia, but the hair is continuing to grow.
I hope it goes away, or my winter plummage will be ruined this year :(
nothing else looks grey.
