We’ve got the GBBO thread, and a confectionary thread, but we currently don’t have a more general food themed thread, I thought I’d correct this.
What have people been cooking recently? Has anyone learnt any interesting techniques? Have you got any plans?
Two recipes I’ve used recently which were excellent were scallops in a fivespice and red wine sauce, and a really nice version of roast lamb which involves inserting all sorts of stuff into the meat. Both recipes are from my culinary hero Michel Roux Jr. I went to his new restaurant at the Landau last week too, which was awesome.
