i cooked this;
(my threads usually take a couple of replies before going off track. i thought i was on to a winner here)
then I had take away for dinner but did make some carrot and caraway puree to use up some carrots that were going soft. I added some yoghurt to it and it's pretty tasty but JUST after I'd made it I opened up the paper and saw a recipe for carrot jam. CARROT JAM. It looked awesome and now a bit gutted I didn't see that sooner.
what did you have for takeaway?
although jam isn't exactly the right word, just a sweet chuntey - it was lush.
I had curry, just traditional lamb on the bone with okra and some saag paneer on the side, and zeera rice. Loads left for tomorrow too.
i made sausage, mash and peas. it was ace. the linda mc italian sausages are the best veg soss around.
gonna have a banana and nuts bagel now wheyyyyyy.
i like linda mcartney sausages too, good stuff.
not sure about that bagel though
seedy bagel, mash all the banana up in a bowl with crushed nuts and whatnot, bit of choccy spread on there. mmm.
but it was more of a joint effort. My wife put it in the toaster, and I buttered it when it was done.
Accompanied by sweet potato mash, peas & broccoli. Easy stuff as I'm catering for the girlfriend's Mum & Brother this week
I'm sure you cooked it wonderfully but seriously, they can fuck off, the weird bastards
and opened a few beers. that's all.
and chanced some sausages that said they werent out of date until tomorrow.
they smelt a little horrible.
We both ate them but straight after i was sick and had the worst stomach pains. Still feeling a little dodgy.
think it could have been that?
im going off fried foods altogether.
