with your favourite photos (of London).
probably doesn't understand cities.
or thinks that somewhere like Bath is a city, idk.
I'm looking at photos and thinking "Wow, that's awesome", but at the same time, I can see why someone would disagree. The Gherkin <3
Think it's genuinely beautiful. Most people I know seem to hate it.
probably a provincial londoner
Is that a city? its pretty beautiful anyway
but it sort of represents (central) london well. it's grand and vibrant, but offset with a bit of grime and heart.
other cities i've been to tend to have the grand and vibrant bit, but usually lack that extra something that makes it feel like it could be home.
by this i mean, you can make any place look cool at night, from above.
Also, this is basically the same 3 photos repeated?
and I don't mean, parts of it are well run down... thats true of most if not all cities but at time it feels like you're riding a rolls royce with a skoda badge, an engine of a kia and tires off of a volvo from the 70s... it sometimes just doesn't fit... so no I don't think it is a beautiful city
The disjointedness is what makes it special.
it gives it character
Beautiful horticulture and engineering seconds away.
Can't believe how little you think of me.
very odd. When did that open? '99? Guess tv/design did jump in quality pretty highly at about 2001
Old routemaster buses, old telephone boxes, Trafalgar Square before being pedestrianised outside the National Gallery... It's a weird image.
(I'm aware that it makes it sounds like I have an annual bi-yearly visit to that london. I'M COOLER THAN THAT. I'M MOVING TO LONDON IN 2 WEEKS YEAH?)
