my vote goes to twelve monkeys, I love that film.
die hard 1
Obviously not a true fan of action films.
Wikipedia is accurate.
I added a lot to this thread.
The correct answer is Twelve Monkeys.
...altho I think Twelve Monkeys just edges it for me.
No mention of Die Hard with a vengeance, Sin City or Sixth Sense yet.
Interesting/not really interesting.
Die Hard with a Vengeance is good but anyone who thinks it's better than Die Hard is nuts. And anyone who thinks Sin City is good at all is nuts
Sin City is great.
Let's agree to disagree.
What film isn't?
I think it's exactly what it sets out to be personally. Not to mention visually brilliant.
Elijah Wood - genuinely terrifying
In trying to ape the visual style of the novel it makes itself redundant.
but enjoyable nonetheless.
And there are plenty of people who watch films but don't read graphic novels: this is for them.
I dunno, I thought that the narrative drive and characterisation was lost in the translation and all you were left with was a massive screensaver.
but not on this.
Could it be because, unlike The Watchmen, I saw Sin City before reading the books? Probably.
The rest, again, pointless.
(and unintentionally hilarious)
I think thewarn is on to something. I've never read the book, so have no knowledge of what might've been lost in translation.
unfairly maligned, imo.
but I'm just going to go and sheepishly ^this Die Hard now instead
Rise Knight, and embrace me.
I can no longer click tiny/bit links for fear that I'll end up ^thissing a post I had no intention of ^thissing
...I'm doing a full top 10 such is my love for Bruno:
1) Twelve Monkeys
3) Pulp Fiction
4) The Sixth Sense
5) Die Hard
6) The Last Boy Scout
7) Sin City
8) Hudson Hawk
9) Planet Terror
2) Die Hard
4) Twelve Monkeys
5) The Last Boy Scout
6) The Fifth Element
7) The Sixth Sense
8) Pulp Fiction
9) Sin City
10) The Jackal
Pulp Fiction is better than Die Hard BUT Pulp Fiction isn't really a Bruce Willis film. This would have been contained in my aborted Bruce rule of Willis
Willis’ role is pretty small, but I remember it being a great film.
Not even joking.
but anyone who doesn't say Die Hard needs their bumps feeling.
