like people on T4 and stuff
that was funny
I wore it well though.
But I'm at work so don't care how cool or uncool I look.
with button necks.
It's second hand from Flip in the '90s though. Too cool.
Group of friends. Literally everyone except me had a plaid shirt on.
You've done it again yes_!
I watched Coronation Street last night. Three men in one room had plaid shirts on. I don't think we can make it a part of I <3 2009!!! yet.
a few years ago i would'ave thought, "There's some on-trend guys, they look classy yet contempo, like me", but that day I just wanted to shout "SAAAAAAAAAAAAME SHIRTS! YOU'VE GOT THE SAAAAAAAAAME SHIRTS"
you wearing nowadays?
chucked out my plaid shirt (gonna get another one though) and have been getting smarter/more cool shit, like COS stuff (albeit off ebay) and nice jeans/trousers. Havn't gone in to the whole "chino" thing thats going around but I still want a nice pair of casual non-jean trousers. I'm looking for a slim fit heavy duty pair of cords
i like em
but still, are you a gardener?
I've never seen a gardener wear them either. Old men however...
I'm not an old man
he's gonna get us beat up one day.
We were walking past one a while ago and he goes 'I like you're shirt mate... NOT'
seemed to be the 'in'-thing at Field Day
Loads of people. Loads.
I don't though. And, corduroys? Really... Only bellends and gardeners were cords. Are you a gardener?
I saw this thread title and knew the author was yes_.
I'm a nobody in the grand scheme of DiS and this should be the hint I need to get a new job, or at least make some more effort in this one.
So, thanks yes_, i think.
As an after thought, I rememeber several threads from the same pen about 5 years ago asking the best places to source such a shirt.
Also, doesn't everyone still wear these? Apart from life's winners who know shirts are for work and t-shirts for leisure.
Should make my little window a wee bit bigger.
I genuinely have no idea why you'd want to wear them.
However MY shirts are pretty beautiful. And they're pretty much all I wear. So although you might laugh it's worth pointing out that I'm still the coolest guy in the god damn world.
which is nice. Not to be tarred with that brush.
I feel much better about myself now.
can't find the thread it was in
but they're flannel so that's ok right?
as long as it's nice
I usually just wear normal shirts.
But they're good for winter.
Pretty sure I wear them all the time though, but I don't give a shit if you like them or not.
Don't remember giving my opinion on them either way, but that's great to know.
Wooden spoon to xheathenx for not liking cords. Or at least missing out geography teacher from his list of cord-y people.
I'm a big fan of the simple cords + coloured t-shirts combo. Geography teacher/skater dad combo, if you will. I'm none of those though. Perhaps I should think about becoming a geography teacher, a skater, or a dad.
I bought one on Saturday from Uni Qlo. Actually the first one I've ever owned. It's very nice.
I then watched ID4 last night (still utterly horrendous) and there's a scene with Goldblum and his wife chatting, both wearing vests and baggy flannels. Excellent.
But it's flannel and therefore not shit.
I LOVE TO DANCE
after the "2".
