~*~LOVE YOU REALLY <3<3~*~
I think deep down you know this too
ok some discussion points
- do you like where you live? i don't
- why are multipack packets of crisps so small? i don't know why that's why I asked.
- should i go to australia? i don't know cause i'm allergic to suncream and they have a big hole in the sky
- what are you listening to? I am listening to minutemen but i need ro renew spotify premium
how are you?
I KILLED THE THREAD
this thread is not doing very well anyway it wasn't your fault
-you mean like the city or house or what? The house is pretty shit, its small and the kitchen hasn't been cleaned since well before the last people in it were here so its like well dirty and DUSTY (!). Sheffield is okay. Wish I'd gone to manchester uni though lol.
-Genuinely never noticed this
-They have big spiders and snakes and terrible people. AVOID.
-Got Diamond Daze by Pantha Du Prince FINALLY the other day. Is as great as his other albums. <3333
Yeah i'm good i suppose preeeeetty bored being massively alone during the summer working n stuff BUT IT'LL BE OVER SOON AND THEN I CAN TRY BUT PROBABLY FAIL TO MAKE SOME FRIENDS IT'LL BE GREAT <lol stereotypical dis post>.
-I guess I mean general area. I don't like being here not during term time/alone in my house and going out to the shops is kinda scary. Never been to Sheffield. Manchester is ok but idk.
- yeah no they are
-terrible people? no i don't think thats true
- now im listening to scott walker
Lots of my friends graduated this year/moved away but idk I find it hard to make friends but that's probably just stupid way to look at it. hope you get some cool mates this year.
and obviously everyone should address me by my username, those are the rules.
in my head it's like sheffield x10 so i dunno if i want you to ruin this image for me.
I dunno about Australia, I mean it's like the stereotype that they're mainly terrible isn't it? I reckon there probably are a higher proportion of rubbish people over there. Stereotypes are usually a bit true.
MAKING FRIENDS IS SO HARRRRRRRRRD. Lol jk. But not really i guess. I hate uni.
nothing's wrong with manchester really. just been getting lots of bad vibes/street harassment recently and wish i'd lived in a nicer area a bit further from uni. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
everywhere has a very high proportion of rubbish people so it's hard to tell.
making friends at university is actually really hard. i've never spoken to someone on my course who i want to be friends with. nbdy gets me.
lets start a club. Pls?
I dunno i didn't really love my flatmates in halls and NO ONE actually wants to talk to you in your classes i've found. Which is pretty retarded but i guess maybe most people that do politics and philosophy have no personality or something and can only talk to strangers when drunk. WHATEVER. I guess it doesn't help that i'm equally useless.
but they can't be arsed/don't know how, so they just hate people instead.
i did sit next to this girl once in philosophy though and we had a right connection going on and she loved the eye contact and stuff and she was like `where do you live` and it turned out i lived in the opposite direction to where she lived and so we parted ways and i never spoke to her again.
Sad episodes in the life of a pol/phil student.
and i never really went to them. I think there was only two more after that anyway and the one i did go to she wasnt there. And she always had pals in the lectures and i only ever saw her when i was already sitting down and she came in after.
It's okay it's not like i loved her or anything........................
I know this sounds bad and stuff but its actually good to be involved in some student stuff. like writing for the paper or something. you know more people that way then it starts to feel like everyone knows each other. but its not everyone actually just the 2% of students who actually know about the "union" and "student activities" and that sort of things. but some of those people are ok. most of them are just lib dems in denial and that's sad though.
yeah i thought about tapping up the student paper and trying to get some music writing thing going on. Maybe they could give me expenses for gigs?????? But yeah that is a good idea.
although i looked over the thread you bumped earlier and i was really unaccountably angry. It was odd. Especially as my whole political schtick is being apathetic. I hope I stop being angry at being apathetic so i can write some pieces that dont SUCK.
I recommend not writing for the politix section, seeriously.Or, idk, yours might not be as bad as ours but ours is hilariously crap and if it seems that way even when otherwise clever people write for it.
they cannot be as bad as people who do law. i don't think i've ever heard anyone talk about something that isn't
- how boring law is
- how much they hate law
- some crap clubs they all go to
- the gym
- training contracts
- some crap sports event theyre organsing so they can get training contracts
- how much law firms pay
- how they just want to be back in thailand and forget about all this
i couldn't really tell you what they talked about. Probably last night's ANTICS or whatever (someone i know calls this hi-jinks. I hate this and always will)
subtle nod to interpol. Indie points collected. Pass Go etc.
It's safe as fuck round here.
and the woman who got raped the week after
and the guy who followed me home...
It's awesome though, that was just a string of bad times :(((
But yeah, it's safe :D
(That's based on insurance claims anyway so it's bollocks)
Plus it's full of people from Manchester.
I've only just grown to love Manc accents
apart from this
It's more the fact that they seem to think they're Proper Hardcore Northerners Who Don't Take No Shit Off The South Yeah? when actually they're barely out of the Midlands. Oh, and the music. Good grief, the music... Oh, and the football. Oh, and the music...
Can't blame 'em though. They're basically exactly what you'd expect to get if you raised a test community in an environment where it pisses it down 360 days of the year and blasted them with Oasis and cold chips.
oh ok do you know lots of people from manchester? idk never heard anyone saying stuff about southerners but then i'm scottish so they might not know i hate southerners too (cause they might not know where scotland is)
I'm mostly basing this on KiK.
- Are they? I think it depends on the type of crisp. And also, you're paying about 1/6 the price of buying them seperately, so I don't mind too much if they're 2/3 the size. Just eat two packets.
- Doesn't appeal to me (though I'm sure if someone else paid I'd enjoy it). I'd quite like to go to NZ though. As for what you should do, I dunno. Do you want to go to Australia? You could buy a parasol.
- Nothing at the moment, I've just got it an I'm about to put something on iplayer or something. Last thing listened to before I went out was... *checks last.fm*... Korngold's suite for Much Ado About Nothing. Oh. That's less cool than it could have been.
forgot how good it is!!!
Well, and some of the earlier gameboy ones.
i used to think it was okay but coming back after all these years it really was a very great game.
My mates really adore the place. They're mostly all in Melbourne.
- do you like where you live? Belfast? its okay.. this house? No. I hate the walls and there are loads of creepies.
- why are multipack packets of crisps so small? because they are scamming c*nts
- should i go to australia? Yes definitely, a lot of my mates went out for a year seperately and never came back. They didnt die or anything, they love it there. Hoping to go visiting next year.
- what are you listening to? To a recording of a guitar thing i just made up. It.needs.something.more. :(
how are you? - well apart from the MrBass situation im alright. Ive havent really spoken to him much. I want tonight to kind of chill out and try not to think about it. So ive been up here with a guitar and ukulele ever since about 7 o'clock
i havent had a good jazz night in a long time, im going to get it going right now!
