hmm, i dunno. anyone got any funny stories about this?
I deleted her, and she cornered me about it, I'm a coward, so I re-added her.
She called one guy a 'ginger council house scumbag'. He found out and went mental at her.
Then someone I know from school worked here on contract and they've been together for about a year now. :(
I don't fancy her anymore.
i remember a story about a teacher being sacked or quit because they had bikini pics on facebook and a student was their friend and they printed them and put them up or something like that. or maybe they were drinking on the picture.
set up an account in the name of the headmaster (using his photo from the school website) and added all the teachers. SHABS.
One (slightly crazy) lady I did this to had a full-on status hissy fit a few days later about "people who add someone and then do not show them everything, if it were me I would just not add such a person". Briefly wondered if this could be me, dismissed it. About a week later found out that it was, indeed, prompted by me, and that she'd been visibly furious about it. Pass by that desk quickly these days.
tbf she is pretty obviously certifiable, and I should indeed never have added her in the first place.
You defo did EXACTLY the right pre-emptive thing. As proven by her subsequent mentalness.
as if just because you work with someone they have a god-given right to see pictures of your mates bogwashing you on a saturday night/you giving it the two thumbs in front of the taj mahal on your holidays
in short, i'd shit in her bin
i'd literally just shit in her bin
love this post
might just retire now........
And then go straight on hide + limited profile.
I do this too.
Just confirms how clueless they are
so it's fine.
Where'd you work, y'lucky sod?!
only 4 others are on facebook.
If the annoying cunts in the office next to us starting adding me, though, I'd have to take the ignore/limited profile approach.
is clearly the person who everyone at work accepts then puts on limited profile/hide instantly
but without the safety wink
made up of people I word(ed) with, there's a high turnover here, bit sad really...! LinkedIn is currently full of requests from work people and deperate recruiters. My boss wants to add me, it's possibly not the best idea...
and her previous work colleagues started deleting her from their facebooks.
I had a chuckle then deleted her as well.
Baring in mind i have an alias that's completely unsearchable anyway. They are all football types anyway and really have no interest.
account with your real name where you accept everyone and never post
account with secret alias that you use properly and only have real, proper friends on
I only work with myself so don't need this but former work colleagues operate such covert profiles
secret aliases on facebook? it's not DiS!
Really overthink how important they are in life!
sounds like some people don't know what privacy settings there are.
Basically, people aren't gonna be able to tag you in things without you approving them.
The amount of photos people take at me asleep at festivals and parties, and then post them on facebook is really starting to piss me off.
I have never met them and I dont really talk to the workmate that much or anything so I dont know how this came to be
