bringing it into the convo ruins the convo
Also it's not that good. Certainly nowhere near some of his other work.
in that it showed what he was capable of
come on, it does the job. ace soundtrack as well.
Good Will Hunting was in 1997. He'd done most of hist best stuff before then. Well before. Good Will Hunting's just a shallow retread of Dead Poet's Society from Williams's point of view, I think.
ace soundtrack tho.
And in one of them, he was credited as 'other kid'.
Are you counting films with just his voice in as well though? Cos Im not sure it beats Aladdin. Also, as a child I watched Mrs Doubtfire more times than I can remember, though I may have just fancied Lisa Jakub.
Hmm. Now I'm in a quandry but I think maybe Awakenings edges it. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
no need to feel a misplaced loyalty to your original choice
The Fisher King is a better film but I think Robin Williams is better in Awakenings.
is pretty good.
Jack or Patch Adams.
(apart from Popeye)
(Robert DeNiro doesn't play a tough guy. It's good.)
What the hell is the matter with you?
Toys is the worst film he's been in.

Other than that, the films gash.
It is alright, but I've seen it too many times due to babysitting duties. It's a bit saccharine. Not utterly gash.
dont know why everyone be hating on jack all the time, i enjoyed that film a couple of times as a child
Two I can think of:
One Hour Photo
...he started strongly and faded badly.
I've just looked thru his filmography and my word, he has done some dross.
he's been in some good films thinking about it now
Moscow on the Hudson
The Fisher King
What Dreams May Come (LOVED this film)
Good Morning Vietnam
His stand up shows in the 80's were brilliant, very worth looking for a night at the Met, I have it on VHS but the audio of it is around the net...
The Fisher King?
