Sunday Books Thread 2
Good afternoon.
Interesting/Inflammatory/Po-faced 'Blog' on the Guardian site about why book shops weren't looted during the riot. Pretty hokey stuff. I think several hundred other shops weren't looted either.

Santa Claus lookalike Nicholson Baker, no stranger to writing gimmicky filth has written some ridiculous grot-fest entirely composed of vignettes about orgies called 'House of Holes'. Sounds good to me.

Colin Meloy has written a kids book. First four chapters are on here. Might read them. Probably shite.

Books are interesting, yeah?
Fiction is more interesting than non fiction, yeah?
Who cares the football season's started again, yeah?
What are you reading?
What are you using as a bookmark?
I'm still reading The French Lieutenant's Woman by John Fowles. Almost fuck-all has happened. Probably the worst Fowles book I've read, but I've got a long bus journey to Krakow tomorrow so should get some time to show it some patience. I'm surrently using the front 'panel' of a old packet of cigarettes as a bookmark.
