I don't think I am beyond the usual fear of falling. But this shit? This shit is beyond me.
(Yes, yes I am)
the video where some mentalists are doing pull-ups on a tower crane
Therefore the CN Tower would be one of the most terrifying things I can think of
visibly close to tears with terror.
Though probably not at that price (the only thing that's stopped me skydiving so far).
But neither would I waste my money on that nonsense
and I'd definitely walk along the ledge. But when it came to leaning over... I'm not sure if I could or not.
I think my main reason for going snowboarding is trying to get over this fear. Never gonna happen. This (walking along a ridge 3/4 the way up Mont Blanc is the most terrifying thing I've ever done):
I saw stuff like that CN Tower nonsense at the Stratosphere in Las Vegas. Gave me sweaty palms.
don't agree with anything thewarn says ever
DiS never lies.
Hello, I also made stops in the Valley white but I had my skis in one hand and it was very difficult to balance yourself but you were lucky, you had both hands free! (I made 2? April) I am 12 and the second is that I did, it is very scary, yes Thank you
but i am scared of depths, and falling
here's a mad french person:
of a tall building or cliff or something.
Also yeah I am a bit I think.
when I'm somewhere populated so I can see people/cars etc which give me a scale of how high up I am.
Went here a year or so ago and wasn't scared at all even though it's taller than Niagara Falls:
Yet I can comfortably stand at the edge of a cliff. There's something about being high up in/on man-made structures that really upsets me.
but I'm afraid of climbing ladders.
Maybe I'm just afraid of ladders rather than heights.
So i'd probably go up the CN Tower and tiptoe gingerly on the glass, absolutely bricking it but at the same time loving how i'm not falling to my death.
I don't know whether i'd willingly lean off the top of a building though, attached or not. Chances are i'd be trying to act cool about it until i actually got to the top, then poo would start coming out.
fall from a great height or attempt suicide in this way. Even on Oblivion at Alton Towers I feel like I would if it the drop lasted longer. What's to stop BASE jumpers or skydivers from blacking out?
Not paralysed with fear, but not confident enough to got to the edge and look over. I bungee jumped once in the hope it would work as some sort of cathartic cure. It didn't.
I think I’m scared of heights, but only at heights which would hurt but not kill me if I fell from them. I’m absolutely fine going up the Empire State Building etc, but something much lower really puts the shit up me.
the sudden drop in altitude can be somewhat unnerving however
BUT, if I'm somewhere high, and then look up, then I freak out a little bit. When I went to NYC, I went up the World Trade Centre, and I freaked out more when I looked up at the needle from the observation deck, than when I looked down at the street below.
When I was over at my Toronto office (which is about 50 odd storeys high iteslf, arrrrrggggghhhh) In refused to go up the CN Tower. it's just WRONG.
I find it hard enough being top floor of our all glass building in London. Look. isn't it scary? http://bit.ly/nidxDl
