confusion (amazon refund-centric)
slightly dull and needless rant considering this situation was kind of win-win for me, but I'm confused.
So I ordered a whole load of things from amazon (from z0verstocks or whatever they are called) and this included a tv series, a PS2 game and a DVD movie.
I got an email from the company saying they had to cancel my order for the DVD and game and that they had refunded them, when I emailed asking why (because it happened to be two items at once which is rare) they didn't tell me, they just confirmed they'd been cancelled.
The DVD arrived a few days later, and then a second copy a few days after that - neither of which I had paid for as I had been refunded for the first one and the second one appeared out of nowhere.
A few weeks later and the game has now arrived too, which I have checked I've been refunded for and I have.
I opened my other parcel today and it contained the television series I'd ordered. I check my email and z0verstocks have sent me one telling me the tv series I ordered didn't pass its quality check and was 'damaged beyond repair' (looks fine to me though I've not played it yet) and so they have refunded me for that and cancelled the order before it has been sent....except as I'm reading the email, the DVD series is a few inches to my left.
What's going on? Should I be grateful for free stuff or deeply confused as to how I've 'lucked out' in being sent 3 things I want and essentially not being charged for them?
