Thursday Gaming Thread
I've not seen one yet today so thought I'd start it.
Deus Ex human revolution is out soon I think. It'd better be good or I'll be VERY upset- the first one was a classic! Seemed to have a lot of depth to it, lots of ways to complete missions, hopefully the new one will do this.
X-Com will be returning, but as some kind of FPS. The head of the publishers (maybe? I can't remember who. One of 'The Suits' anyhow..) was defending their decision to turn it into an FPS, rather than make a strategy game. Apparently 'strategy games are not contemporary'. GTFO. How much did Starcraft 2 make?
I've been back on PC gaming for the past week after managing to install a snazzy new graphics card without making anything explode.
- The Witcher 2 is very good, dialogue choices and decisions seem to have a pretty big consequences in the latter stages. Combat can be a bit tricky though- not quite responsive enough! The game looks AMAZING though.
- Steam sale had some bargains- picked up the entire Valve back catalogue for £25, and Just Cause 2 for £3.50! Dunno when I'm going to have time to play it all though.
- Portal 2 is very, very good. Good writing makes a game so much more fun to play.
What have you lot been playing?
