I've just watched his speech on this, full transcript here:
Not to go all CG on your asses, but I'm actually pleasantly suprised. He's suggesting two independent inquiries, he's talking about replacing the PCC with something actually independent and with teeth, and he admits that politicians made a mess of it.
No mention of the opinion held by most people that NI's links with both Labour and the Tories are too strong.

So what do people think? Plesant suprise, or not far enough?
