Not ashamed to admit I cried
what is it?
that turns all kinds of harsh with some twists and stuff.
Save yourself 5 seconds
why start a thread if you're not going to say what it's about? was pretty much my point
asking what it is instead of spending the 5 seconds it takes to type it into google and read the wikipedia entry
It's one of the best documentaries I've seen
Not the best idea i have ever had.
I had to have a bit of a 30 rock marathon afterwards.
Just watched this. So many different emotions.
Only reservations are whether the editing/style is appropriate/over egged (maybe it works better in its raw form...), and whether there should have been more focus on Shirley's background (again, this is debatable, and I can understand the filmmakers bias).
Everybody should watch this if they haven't already. Incredible. Don't read about it first, just watch it.
it works ok, but there were some bits (like the 'rage' sequence) which were almost laughable.
But yeah, this doesn't really matter. It's an incredible story.
Pretty essential viewing though.
Not really knowing what it was about. Ended up going to the pub after and just staring at each other afterwards lost for words.
