The Mail don't much like him:
-"Militant rail union boss".
-Lenin, Marx, Fidel Castro and Che Guevara CROWbarred (Arf!) into the first paragraph for no salient reason.
"£650 lunches" as a first line of attack (next to a picture of at least 3 people round a table. Is that £650 for the table? How many were there? Oh, hang on, hidden away in the middle of the story we find out it's for him and four mates, on his birthday. So £130 per head. Presumably that includes a generous tip. Not at all outrageous, is it?)
-"next door to a single mother and her son"
-"card-carrying member of the Communist Party"
-"£800-a-head holiday" (How is that amazing or sickening or whatever?)
-another mention of militant
-another mention of Castro
Bored now... have i collected enough to shout BINGO! yet?
but still think Bob Crow is a moron, right?
you massive fucking commie*.
it was quite funny to hear her describe how she had to change her language to fit the house style, and how it is totally true that the Mail only writes about 3 or 4 subjects in its news section.
She was really nice though.
but that he's completely necessary.
I wish most of my colleagues at Unite had the same level of backbone.
and half expected you to be defending him, you grizzly old contrarian.
