Snakes on a Plane
It came with a warning, though. That's just how I roll.
i saw that they had this listed on the VOD section in the magazine. :D
Side note: I watched Deja Vu, which features a large explosion on a ferry, on a ferry.
Certainly there's no other excuse for watching that piece of shit.
transporter 2 has a scene with a plane falling into the sea. WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT. it was worse on the way back though because that was dukes of hazard with jessica simpson on repeat. on 1 massive screen. for 10 hours.
the parts of Casino Royale which feature Virgin Atlantic aircraft.
also: aeroplane >>> airplane.
also also: films > movies.
here we go.
I have always called them movies. always. in fact, i contest anyone saying otherwise.
Transformers = Movie.
Irreversible = Film.
The title is Airplane! with an exclamation mark
I was just being a shitestirrer. Still cringe at the creeping adoption of airplane over aeroplane and movie over film though.
*Lovely stuff from Theo with the exclamation mark though.
Basically 'Snakes on a plane' but with Zombies instead
Had no idea it existed beforehand and it was very amusing as it slowly dawned on me what the film was during the trailer.
a) isn't the fact that it's our planet the TWIST?
b) how does a couple of apes destroy our world? we can pretty easily control them if we just, you know, shoot them.
c) rise OF THE planet OF THE apes? OF THE OF THE? Fuck.
d) John Lithgow.
well apart from what possessed James Franco to star in it. I'm assuming they gain powers, political as well as magical.
It's earth in the original film so that's not a twist.
Technically it would have to contain us killing ourselves and the apes evolving from that.
You know, the usual scientific experiment gone wrong kind of thing. From there on in, they use their superior power at jumping and climbing on things to take our civilisation apart, brick by puny brick.
Because its a shit film.
It's not really the same thing, though I suppose it wouldn't get shown on a Space Shuttle. It all ended up alright though so maybe they would.
I have no business here.
they don't have TV's .... :-O
Both films featured cuts (sex/violence?) that rendered them nonsensical in places, yet both films had retained their moments of aircraft exploding in mid flight. Go figure.
and bought a magazine before getting on the plane, it was Christmas and the magazine had one of those "The Year in Pictures" photo spreads.
One of the things that had happened that year was a number of major airline disasters, and there was a big glossy colour two-page spread featuring photos of destroyed aircraft, bodies scattered around in trees etc.
We were taking off and I looked over to the Japanese girl sitting next to me, she was looking at my magazine, and the expression on her face was something that will cheer me into the autumn of my days.
