is high fidelity. right?
As I said, I'm going to keep posting this until it gets the love it deserves.
But anyway, the film most DiSers loved and then aimed fire on when they found out it wasn't cool anymore is Juno - it crops up in every movie thread. Lars and the Real Girl is a good shout.
The real answer should be Dazed and Confused. Give Blue Valentine a couple of years.
some of the dialogue's really cringey, but it makes me smile. akin to napoleon dynamite
napoleon dynamite is in no way cringey and is one of the best movies ever made.
but in the most geeky awesome way. and the comparison was more on the whimsy/making me smile aspect
Films like juno, garden state etc the consensus was pretty negative from day one, yet those that dont like them always seem to think they are unique in that opinion and that at some point eeveryone else has back tracked when really those that liked it still like it and those that didnt are the ones that still dont
Fairly enjoyable film
it's better than high fidelity. but less relatable for your average middle-class apathetic music snob
Never wanted to see a film less, but I seem to be in the minority.
But the disc is Kevin and Perry Go Large
they'd LIKE to think it's something cool. But it's that.
Not if you're watching the correct DiS version it hasn't
Its just right, its perfect.
Oh and i would recommend 'wings of desire' to anyone who hasnt seen it......its really dis
its got a library, you get to hear peoples thoughts, its got a nick cave concert, its got haunting cityscapes
fuck this. Fuck you all, you fucking nob ends.
