General sports thread about sports which aren't football
Hi there. I want to talk about some other sports please.

First up, it's pretty sad to admit it, but Formula 1's season is essentially over, innit? Vettel has it in the bag. Anyhow, Canadian Grand Prix this week. Could be interesting as McLaren love the track. Probably won't be...

Second, I DON'T LIKE (limited overs) CRICKET.
When England play India in the coming weeks, we could become the number 1 Test side in the world. But are we fooling ourselves into thinking we're amazing, given that there are essentially only about 3 countries left on the planet who still give a rats arse about the format? And on that note, what's the future of the game for you?
Test Cricket is dying outside of England and the Indian regions. IPL is a bit up and down but generally loved due to the money involved and cricketers are realising they can earn more, play less and stay in the game for longer if they prioritise 50 over games and 20/20. Which I find sad, as I love the longer format of the game.
What would you like to see happen in an ideal world?
Also, the ECB made the decision this week that the West Indies Test series won't feature one at Lord's, which has upset some of their players looking forward to playing there. That's a crap decision, isn't it? Never been myself, but was kinda hoping to for that.

Lastly, The Guardian website was spaffing itself over Murray winning a game at Queens today. With Wimbledon a week and a bit away, the whole country is going to lose all ability to think rationally and declare Murray a contender, aren't they?
My question to you: Why is England so stupid?
