Liver is quite cheap and aint got much money on me, or any meat at 'ome, so it'd save me goin' 'ome an' then comin' back out to buy summat else.
Liver is fine if it's cooked really well (as in correctly) so it stays nice and tender.
It's has a strong flavour of iron so is best served in a strong sauce to make it more palatable (for me anyways).
i could whack a load of teryaki sauce?
i'm advised to pan cook it for about a minute, turning over pretty constantly. i like most meats.
might give me mam a call, she's not a great cook though.
so I'm going to say that it must be fairly easy because she can't cook for shit.
It's alright I suppose but being made to eat it as a child has put me off. But then when I was mistakenly eating testicles for a few weeks cos it was the cheapest meat I thought, hmm, whatever this is it tastes a lot like liver and it's not as bad as I remember. So yeah, try it dude - always try something at least. Then move on.
The texture of liver is all wrong.
Kind of chalky and nasty.
No one does.
if the issue is that you can't afford a better meat, dont eat meat tonight! have pasta and pesto or something. not EVERY meal you ever eat has to have meat in it.
you're my food buddy though so maybe i should take your word for it
take my word for it.
you can make loads of delicious meals without meat, really. it's healthier to not eat meat every day too.
i have some polish sausage in the fridge!
what are you going to ahve it with?
once steve and i found some cheese sausages, not pork with cheese, just sausages made purely out of cheese. i think it was mature cheddar and red leicester, so so good but really fattening.
gonna do it with pasta in a sauce as i'll only have 40 minutes. put some mature cheddar on top as well
