a good idea?
might go an view a flat there. is it too close to, well, hoxton?
look it up on googlemaps. i wouldn't mind living there cos i work next to old st station which is very very close.
I live next to Hoxton square. But I am leaving in 2 days.
It's convenient as it's close to central and also close to other free stuffz going on.
I live south of the square where it get a bit rough. The dicks are on the north side
Personally, it would be my worst nightmare as there's literally no way of escaping the fashionistas/scenesters, but at least you're in the centre of things I guess. Pricey, mind.
it's perfect cos 1) i don't have to feel like a massive square every time i leave the house as it's just that bit removed from the whole "london's trendy east london" vibe you get in and around the square itself, and 2) living in zone 1 is prettttttty gotdamn banging. so easy to get home to from basically anywhere in london.
so yeah, personally, i enjoy being that tiny bit further away, but the advantages of living that central vastly outweigh any kind of nonsensical negative stuff about hipsters or tevz.
