Glinner.
why doesn't he just marry twitter already? here he is talking about it as usual: http://glinner.posterous.com/me-and-osama
it's kind of a funny story, but does he have to write an essay about it? rumours spread on the internet before twitter, hell rumours spread before the internet (remember when you used to go to festivals and someone would spread a rumour around the campsite that the singer of one of the bands had died? good times).
there's no real point to my argument in particular though, just that glinner and his obsession with twitter as this phenomenal instrument of social change (and by extension his importance as one of its most notable users, which is implied at least to someone as cynical and easily irritated as me). in conclusion, shut up, get off the internet for a while and write some comedy. essentially.
