It's just so weirdly blatant. Buying political influence, the more you spend, the more you get! It's not as if people would pay thousands of pounds for the pleasure of Dave's company, unless maybe he's started taking coke again, that might be entertaining.

what with the whole auctioning off internship thing at the back end of last year. To be honest, it's not the kind of thing that'll affect them at this stage, but it'll be seen as grubby when the media eventually turn against the Conservatives (as they inevitably always do with those in power).
I mean, be corrupt and backslapping and all the rest of it, that's FINE, just be a bit discrete about it for fuck's sake.
I can't imagine many would pay full price to meet Nick Clegg any more.
I'd actually prefer they're open myself though - at least it confirms my suspicions that politicians are still corrupt bastards.
announced to the press that the leader of the Scottish conservatives should resign and his pet politician should be dropped in in her place. The next day the leader of the Scottish conservatives resigned. Will be interesting to see if the leadership has been bought
