What are your rules? Does your cat bring in its prey? Can it be stopped?
we frequently find piles of dead spiders, flies, moths and wasps, She spends about 90% of her non sleeping life hunting them, she likes to taunt them and never eats them just clubs at them with her paws putting them in her mouth if they move and then spitting them out again. Still it makes for a good show, she has no interest in the rabbits in the garden, but one day she may realise she's higher in the food chain
they got him three years ago when he was two and he clearly wasn't completely domesticated, still had some wild cat in him. He's mellowed a little bit but kills anything he can catch, crows, magpies, pigeons, mice, spiders etcetc. He's one of those fuckers who comes over to sit with you for a pet then rolls onto his back and lacerates your hand/wrist
I was round last night and he came in with a mouse, it was still alive and when I tried to take it off him he just bit it harder and tried to claw it to death so I had to just throw him out with it and let him back in after he'd done whatever with it. I think he's beyond help, he also likes sitting behind people, grabbing their head with a claw, pulling it back and chewing their hair
asked me a hard question about neo-gothicism
and then an UNSTOPPABLE cat dropped a mouse in the middle of the room and started punching it
saving me from embarrassment
all you can do is say 'BAD CAT' and make lots of noise.
Often mice, voles, shrews, but can be birds, rabbits or frogs. Dead or alive. No idea how to stop it.
Just leaves them about. Rules? Cats cannot live by man's rules!
it was a proud moment for me. i plan to train her into an efficient spider hunting machine.
