for me, it basically gives you more choices.
Instead of voting for one party only, you get to order the parties you want and this gets tallied. So i may place Labour as 1 as i want to vote for them first, then feel Green party get 2, and then lib dems may get 3rd, for example.
For me this just gives the voter slightly more opportunity to share the vote. It would obviously bring on more hung parliaments which is obviously not the most popular thing at the minute.
I took a very simplistic look at it, in that i'd quite like to be able to put certain parties as a 2nd or 3rd choice. But i haven't put too much thought into it because of business. Not that any of it matters now.
i went to the polls really confused there was only one question.
-"One of the most embarrassing problems facing electoral staff was in Fermanagh/South Tyrone where a number of ballot boxes had been filled with rain water. The ballot papers from the boxes had to be given the hair dryer treatment before being verified earlier today."
or who's the bad guys that everyone seems to be alluding to?
Nah they're alright really.
but on the subject of the BNP, it's hearening to see them only on 2 council seats, and losing eleven. not seen that mentioned yet.
