There will ALWAYS be cold lumps.
this post brought the first smile of the day. thank you :)
I was outraged and brought it up in conversation with someone else and they thought it was also fine, people are weird.
my stepdad asked me what I wanted for dinner, so I replied 'cheese on toast'. He then took a slice of bread, put a slice of cheese on it, and put it in the microsave. what the fuck is up with that?
give it a stir, 10 seconds, stir, and repeat until it's nearly all melted, then stir the last little remaining bits in. that way you temper it, and stop sugar crystals forming, ensuring smooth, glossy chocolate that sets really well with a shine...obsessed much?
Never lasted for more than half a second though.
And they're always too hot to touch so you have to pick them up with a tea towel and then you get gunky orange microwave curry all over your tea towel.
always tastes a bit off. might as well chuck it.

revealed to the facebook world the other night that she put beans, can included, into the microwave and that 'the kitchen is orange now'.
didn't realise that metal was a microwave no-no until things started spitting sparks...
broke the microwave
I always scramble eggs using the microwave. My housemate in first year thought it was ridiculous, but he used to cook potato waffles in the toaster.
When I broke my microwave, it was a whole egg though. I can't remember what I expected to happen...
...quite spectacularly dangerous that is.
with a microwave egg boiler thing. you put a little bit of water in and it cooks the egg. if you forget to put the metal inside casing in, though, it does explode.
* 8 slices bacon
Place 2 sheets of paper towel on a microwave safe plate, lay the bacon out on the paper towel not overlapping the slices. Place 2 more sheets of paper towel on top. Place in the microwave on high for 4 to 6 minutes.
Who wants a soggy scotch pie?
It just doesn't work.
PEOPLE DO THIS.
SERIOUSLY. THE HOB!
And she wondered why 'just the bottom bit got a bit burnt.'
I put a Bovril cube in the kettle, filled with water and boiled.
I wonder if you soaked it in egg folded it over and fried it would it be nice??
just plopped it on, unprotected.
I've been toying with the idea of posting a "that's what she said" for 10 minutes now.
Did she turn all four hobs on to cook it evenly? Or just the one?
goes all soggy and mank.
i hate using them. i always stand to the side because i'm scared it'll explode and i'll get cooked, and i have to watch whatever's cooking in there poised to press the stop button at the first sign of danger. microwaves. wtf.
