Home-made cheese and tomato sandwich on white bread.
Home-made chocolate and banana muffin.
Bottle of tap water.
in a granary chest with stuffing, apple sauce, carrot, salad, wedges and crackling on the side. Followed by a banana.
Last week they put the crackling in the sandwich. Recipe for disaster I tell ye.
I made quite the mess.
So I've got some chopped up bits of steak, rice, beans, griddles peppers, sour cream, grated cheese, guacamole, salsa, and probably something else, plus a tortilla wrap to stuff it all in.
so it was still a little bit fibrous. Still good though.
one of my friends used to make the best guacomole. i think the secret was caramelised onions or something. hangover nachos at his house <3
We had these AMAZING nachos at <some restaurant that had Joe in the name> and the guacamole was just perfect and delicious!
Home made guacamole is great. I like home made stuff to not be blended though...like everything finely chopped up so its got a nice texture.
mexican food is my favourite.
we should make a huge plate of nachos in barcelona and eat them ALL.
YES. We should definitely do that. Guacamole, sour cream, salsa, loads of cheese....oh I want this right now!
AMAZING burritos and EVEN AMAZING-ER mojitos (are they even mexican? give a fuck.) let's go there too.
They seem to flow down the street
Salad w/ red kidney beans, avacado, cucumber, tomato, cornichons & Feta cheese
Some nice bread fresh from the bakery
cup of coffee
was pretty good
would have been GREAT with a blue steak on the side
At least I have my friday pizza to look forward to later. Yum.
It was a cess-pit of a place staffed with people on community service and the criminally unhygenic.
thanks for that. I think I might just buy an avocado now.
The Tesco Finest ones are all handmade, don't you know.
How do they make the non finest ones then? In a machine?
One person butters the bread, the next puts on cucumber, the next person tomatoes, and so on until you have a million sandwiches.
I said sorry didn't I? I will try not to be late but I NEED my Friday pizza for energy and ability to handle my drink.
Hope you at least ordered Papa John's.
I'm not an idiot.
glass of soya milk
lots of quiches and salad things.
I baked a rainbow cake. Like this one:
I went to put smarties around the bottom - as I thought it would add to the bright colours, and much to my horror smarties are now pastel in colour????
i've never been, but i am about 500m away. i could go. when i don't bring packed lunch i tend to go to nile valley. falafel wrap = yes plz.
i havent been to nile valley in ages but i wanna go to that brazilian place sometime soon maybe ill go next week idk
maybe i'll check it out.
that brazilian place on buccleuch st? my mate used to rave about it when we lived down that way.
every time i go by it looks close but i guess maybe it just looks like that idk

SALT AND VINEGAR SNACK A JACKS
FUNKY GIBBON THING FROM MY GRAZE BOX
Sometimes I really regret deciding to be a veggie during the working week. Especially when people talk about crackling.
niiiice latte (square mile roasters ftw)
Toss up between soup at nusa, or pizza from rocket. PIZZA IS CURRENTLY TAKING THE LEAD.
Too lazy to sort anything better.
Had pie (which wasn't as good as it was on Wednesday for obvious reasons), chips and a bottle of Pepsi. 7/10.
Garlic & parsley breaded chicken kiev with paprika diced potatoes, creamy crunchy coleslaw, grated Colby cheese, mixed leaf salad, pickled jalapenos & barbeque sauce - in a toasted wrap.
1 x homemade chorizo, cheese, lettuce and sweet chilli sauce sammich
8 x cherry tomatoes
1 x banana
some cakes / biscuits from the comic relief bake sale at work
I now have to go OUTSIDE in the RAIN. Burrito maybe? I work near Spitalfields Market, there are some pretty exciting food options.
Huge it was. Huge.
Daddy Donkey FTW
Burrito Bros 3rd
Might eat there tomorrow and get fucked up on their ridiculous cocktails like Cactus Banger, The Exterminator and Absinthe Makes The Heart Grow Fonder
Especially because they're tastelondon... hardly the most gourmet Mexican joint in town but they do the basics incredibly well and their garlic bread is faaaaantastic.
But £1 main courses before £6pm? Think I know what I'M now going to be doing this weekend...
i had to throw it away. So i had a Pear Picking Porky ice pop and a cigarette
normally we go out and grab a Jimmy John's sandwich - i get a number 11: smoked turkey breast, smoked ham, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato and Hellmann's mayonnaise. Pretty good actually. and feels really fresh.
but today might just grab a soup and a home made sandwich and sit at the pool. yes, AT THE POOL. bwhahahah.
ive been thinking all day about how class it would be to go to an outdoor pool or to the sea and have a few beers. You didnt mention beer though so thats okay.
just not enjoying drinking it as much as i used to. i think its down to the fucking awful draught beers here.
Was good, but tempted to go to the shop and get monster munch and a twix
1 x Tuna and sweetcorn Cup-a-soup
1 x Tin of mackerel
2 x Ryvita with a liberal coating of garlic & herb Philadelphia
2 x Red apples
1 x Raspberry yoghurt
Possibly have a banana if I get peckish in a bit, too.
Bet you're popular in your office
my god they are good
bagel with chicken and avocado...oh I am so going to enjoy this.
what does it taste like?
its creamy, really rich, a bit nutty? earthy? I don't know. Try one! They're really nice.
It is sooo on!
on Fridays (and Mondays) I'm on placement in a gritty suburb of Birmingham/Solihull where the main choice is between a Costcutter sandwich and a Greggs pasty :(
I did drive into Solihull and have an ostrich burger from a random market the other week though. That felt pretty decadent.
bacon, cream cheese, lettuce
glass of squash.
