Any intrested parties except for me?
DiS football team from the Midlands to take on the northern and cockney chumps at some point
however thank you for narrowing down the type of team that the OP was referring to
:D I might cheer at the home games
I live in Market Harborough, south Leics. I'd even bring half time oranges.
and also quite non-committal. What are the plans?
could be tempted depending on where you were thinking of playing. I'm strong on enthusiasm but light on skill.
Depends on numbers and location will go with the best middle ground for everyone.
Skill is no issue, just for bants and lols
i could rope a couple other Nott'm DiSers into it too perhaps.
I could be in.
East Vs West 8 a side?
Depnds on the locations of the majority of ins
When we have the ins
But yeah .... early days yet
will this be like Renford Rejects? Will we have a theme tune of 'Australia'? Can we going and eat in Elvis themed cafe afterwards? Can the goalkeeper read poetry etc etc
*gets cut off by jeering*
Because I'm so fucking parochial.
but I'm fat and rubbish at football. If you need a fat and rubbish striker, I'm in.
so yeah, probably, depends on dates and stuff. i'm quite handy.
Might get a real team out of this.
More people please!
I'm the Nottingham equivalent version of an unfit Zheng Zhi.
everyone getting their excuses in as early as possible :)
Whats everyones second choice?
on the basis that it's not too far, and it'd probably be a good compromise for a lot of people.
So besides Leicester, Birmingham would be really easy for me to get to, city centre anyway, as it's only two stops on the train.
It'd mean I wouldnt have to lie to my ex about being there with 'work' and take half a day off and wear a suit to try and act casual :'(
Ok as a pencilled in date? close enough to keep eager, far away enough to amass more troops
Still looking at possible places
No point booking owt yet till numbers say yes
or if the pitch is even there, and if it is, whether they rent it to the general public, but Aston Uni have/had an artificial (sand-tastic) pitch that's central.
</vague, cos not been there properly for more than five years and that part of brum seems to change every tim ei pass through>
