Things that I've cooked in the past week
1) Chicken souvlaki (8 out of 10)
2) Chocolate beetroot cake (9 out of 10)
3) Lamb, potato, spinach and aubergine curry (10 out of 10)
3) Seafood fennel salad (10 out of 10)
Tempted to make a croquembouche but would feel a bit stupid bringing that badboy into work on the jubilee line.
Yes I am bored.

Things I've cooked this week:
1) Pie and mash (10/10)
2) Some sandwiches (10/10)
That's it.
did you cook the sandwiches or just prepare them? hey? HEY?
What pie did you make?
You couldn't bring a croquembouche onto public transport
You'd be crushed to death by the frenzied swarm of British commuters going for your profiteroles
just another day on the IRT*
*jubilee line

1) Spaghetti Bolognese (seriously)
2) Penne with tuna, olives and tomatos (always enjoyable, but hardly a challenge)
3) Bacon, cream cheese and lettuce sandwiches (not a great deal of cooking involved)
Don't know what I've even gone to the trouble of listing them.
Mate, I just to the trouble of reading them
Your life is full of fulfilling activity by comparison
Validation at last
In return for your gift of acknowledgement, allow me to give you this additional post to read.
I'm so bored I've started wondering if it was possible to make a lo-fi
croquembouche entirely out of off-licence scotch eggs
if you build it Bamos will probably cum
I think it could be done
You'd need to drizzle the "peak" with brown sauce obviously
Bolognaise is the shit if you take it seriously
I cooked my very first poached egg..

chocolate beetroot cake grandad
Mmmm.
Saturday: homemade pizza with chorizo, olives and chilli. More people should make home-made pizza, it's actually pretty cheap / easy / tasty (arf!). My oven doesn't get hot enough for best results though. 8.5/10
Sunday: beef chilli with black-eyed beans. Used some chipotle, oregano, plenty of spices. Slow cooker for ages. Consumed with sour cream and fresh coriander. This was well nice. 9/10
I also made flapjacks. I dislike the trend of trying to re-imagine these as health food. Dripping with butter or gtfo. 9/10
Monday: chicken and veg stir fry with oyster sauce. Tasty but pretty standard. 7.5/10
Tuesday: catered for by Dominos. Calories/10
I made a carbonara last night, with chorizo instead of pancetta.
It was awesome, I was really chuffed with myself.
I mostly make mine with smoked bacon
really is lovely, Bit of white wine in with the garlic and bacon... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I fucking hate you all
1) Pizza express pizza
2) thai red curry ready meal

I made a chorizo (missus brought back some spicy stuff from Madrid) and pancetta risotto 9/10
Then yesterday I got a take away curry 7/10. A poor call from the GF though, she insisted we get one despite her being tom and dick all week. She went to the doctors today and she's got gastrointinitus (sp)
