it tells you if it's day or night
and you can't use it with out a laptop/macbook due to it needing itunes for pretty much everything. including backing up.
so yes, it's pretty pointless.
iphone is ok but the ipad is brilliant.
surely everyone can just get a lead from your laptop to your telly?
Also not quite understood the point of multi-room speakers but then I, like most people, don't live in a mansion...

However, thnk of th smell.
I LOVE washing powder.
or does it change by itself according to season and timezone? If not the latter; bit pricey.
otherwise it'd be a right rip off.
fighter of the nightwatch...
(who had an affair shotly after the financial crisis broke in 2008......aledgedly)
to take out a SUPERinjunction to prevent him even being called a banker by the press.........and, alledgedly. the reason he did this was cos he had an affair.....its not me thats 'mattering' over it, its HIM.
Plus its not a particularly good thing for him to be embarking upon, when you would think that, for the money he was getting paid, his whole focus and soul would be about how exposed RBS were, and what he could do to mitigate his putting RBS into such a bad position....but no, hes off swanning around with a fellow banker having it away on the boardroom table when he should be trying to mitigate his enormous disasterous decisions (alledgedly)
(plus....I think that if you pledge commitment to someone then it is probably not 'nowt wrong' with breaking solumn pledges....ok things dont always work out like you expect em to, but it doesnt mean that there is 'nowt wrong with it'
my original post in that vein.......Fred BadLose IS/WAS expensive, and he has got the courts to have a superinjunction preventing people from calling him a banker (even though fred goodwin IS a banker) and thus several people on the internet are revelling in the (admitedly purile, but nontheless personally satisfying) mentioning of 'FRED GOODWIN - THE BANKER' at every opportunity, shoehorning it in at every opportunity.......I dont care whether he had an affair or not, but since (aledgedly) this was the reason for him getting a SUPERinjunction, I suspect that he doesnt want people to know, therefore in the same spirit of mentioning that 'Fred Goodwin - the banker' I mention 'Fred Goodwin - the adulterous banker' in the hope that it might pop up in google searches........we, the poor plebs dont get much of an opportunity to have a go back at the powerful people who seem to be unaccountable and affect our lives negatively, whilst they are handsomely rewarded for it, this is one of the few ways that we can feel that we are having a go back.
If I ever tried to look down my nose morally with someone that was smaller and less powerful or fortunate than myself then perhaps I should recieve censure for such comment, but this is not the case here. All my life I have witness morons complementing the rich and famous, as if they possess all the virtues of humanity.
I cant see why I cant call him adulterous, why/where did I say that adulterous was always bad? (apart from my initial half hearted reply to you)
I mentioned the 'adulterous' bit cos that is what the nub of the 'non reportable' news story about him is.......If he hadnt tried to get the courts to cover up so much why would I have bothered? ........I wouldnt have.
I realise that an awful lot of how what is said in forums can be taken the wrong way, but please try to see where I am coming from on this.
well you are right if you take that detached view, unfortunately the rest of the world do not simultaneously take the same view, therefore if you do make a voluntary pledge (even if it is foolhardy because it is unrealistic) then you do still have responsibility for people who might be relying on your (admitedly unrealistic) pledge, simply because you know that they might be relying on it.......it might not be possible to pledge how we will always feel, but we are still (to a variable degree) responsible for how our actions affect others........I am not a 'marriage freak', I am not defending any venerable institution I am just discussing your (in a way correct) point about pledges being made by idiots, because this also means that people who believe pledges are also idiots.....but then you are left with thinking that many humans are idiots (which may be very true).....but that does not mean that they are not worthy of being treated sympathetically by those they have a relationship with.......taking your logic to the ultimate degree, many things that humans say is a load of bollocks, and yet we are both human, not logic robots.......language gives huge practical benefits to overcoming immediate problems, but unfortunately language and verbal reasoning can also create some paradox's because language is not totally logical, it is sometimes more logical and sometimes less so, the problem is there is no defining line or many indicators to show when and how.......although people of the same age intelligence, background and cultural references might seem to have more chance of using language similarly, there can still be huge differences of interpretation, possibly caused by events in life.........now imagine how people with an iq of say 70 would react when you tell them that they are an idiot for believing what a salesman/banker/financial expert/poliician/anyone (with say an iq of 130 tells them (with an apparent oath or promise) I think that from their point of view they would consider that they had been lied to.
PS (this post has nothing to do with my original post about 'Fred Goodwin - the adulterous banker' but is to do with the seperate issue of 'pledgers' being idiots)
